September 14, 2026
Central Park Boulevard Port City Colombo has completed 60% of piling work, progressing 10% ahead of schedule on the USD 150 million development.
Market leader Home Lands has announced that Central Park Boulevard Port City Colombo has reached a major construction milestone, with 60% of its piling work completed less than three months after the project was launched. The development is currently progressing 10% ahead of schedule.
A total of 192 piles are being constructed for the ultra-luxury twin-tower development, with nine piling machines currently deployed at the site. Three major contractors—Access Engineering PLC, Sanken Construction’s SanPiling (Pvt) Ltd. and D P Jayasinghe Piling Company (Pvt) Ltd.—are involved in the piling programme.
The scale of equipment and contractor expertise has enabled the project to maintain a strong construction pace. Home Lands said the progress reflects its focus on detailed planning, financial strength and an integrated approach to executing large-scale developments.
Located within the Central Park District of Port City Colombo, the project represents a significant investment in Sri Lanka’s real estate sector. Home Lands is investing USD 150 million in the development, while the total project value is estimated at more than USD 300 million. The company expects the project’s global marketing strategy to attract foreign currency inflows by targeting international buyers.
Central Park Boulevard introduces a branded global lifestyle concept to Sri Lanka, with residences designed to offer premium living within the Port City development. The twin towers will overlook nearly 40 acres of Central Park as well as the Indian Ocean, positioning the project as a high-end residential development within one of Colombo’s emerging international destinations.
Home Lands Chairman Nalin Herath said the steady construction progress was bringing the company’s vision of a world-class lifestyle development at Port City Colombo closer to reality.
The developer has also strengthened its commitment to Port City Colombo through the acquisition of a second land parcel in the Central Park District. The newly acquired property covers more than three acres and is located adjacent to the land on which Central Park Boulevard is being constructed.
Home Lands said the additional acquisition demonstrates its confidence in the long-term potential of Port City Colombo and its commitment to continued investment in Sri Lanka’s real estate sector.
The company brings more than two decades of experience to the project, having sold more than 5,000 residences and delivered over 3,750 homes. More than 2,850 units are currently under construction, while the company expects another 400 units to be ready for delivery within the year.
With piling already 60% complete and construction ahead of target, Central Park Boulevard is emerging as a major development within Port City Colombo, with the project expected to contribute to the city’s growing luxury residential and investment landscape.
