Singapore Media Delegation Visits Sri Lanka to Promote Tourism
Singaporean journalists are visiting Sri Lanka from November 1 to 7, 2026, to explore cultural attractions, hospitality and travel experiences while promoting tourism.

A delegation of Singaporean media representatives is visiting Sri Lanka from November 1 to 7, 2026, as part of an initiative to promote the country as an attractive travel destination for Singaporean tourists.
The familiarisation tour is organised by the Sri Lankan High Commission in Singapore, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) and the Singapore Press Club.
Led by Singapore Press Club Vice-President Baghman Singh, the delegation will explore Sri Lanka's cultural heritage, natural attractions, hospitality, cuisine and tourism experiences.
A pre-departure briefing was held in Singapore on October 28, where participants received information about the tour programme and Sri Lanka's tourism offerings.
Following the visit, participating journalists are expected to share their experiences through their media platforms, helping introduce Sri Lanka to a wider Singaporean audience.
The initiative aims to strengthen tourism promotion, media cooperation and people-to-people connections between Sri Lanka and Singapore.
