Sri Lanka Launches Global Influencer Campaign to Reach Millions of Travelers
Sri Lanka has launched a 12-day international influencer tour from July 6–17 to showcase the island to millions of potential travelers worldwide. The campaign is organized by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism.
Leading content creators from Australia and Indonesia will visit popular destinations including Negombo, Dambulla, Pasikudah, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Yala, Galle, and Colombo, creating travel and lifestyle content that highlights Sri Lanka's beaches, wildlife, culture, landscapes, local cuisine, and unique experiences.
Among the participating creators is Ondreaz Lopez, who has 3.1 million Instagram followers and 19.8 million TikTok followers. He will be joined by Australian creators Alec Golinger, Jessica Stevens, Ben Mackay, Maddison Lambert, Shannon Thomson, and Olivia Jade Thomson, along with Indonesian travel creator Masniari Rizky Putri Pasaribu.
Supported by hotels, transport providers, and tourism industry partners, the campaign is expected to reach millions of people across social media. Through authentic storytelling from internationally recognized creators, SLTPB aims to strengthen Sri Lanka's global tourism image and inspire more travelers to choose the island as their next destination.
