Dishal De Silva has been appointed Senior Vice President of TAASL, strengthening his leadership role in Sri Lanka’s travel and tourism industry.
Dishal De Silva, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Travel Fantasy DMC (Pvt) Ltd, has been appointed Senior Vice President of the Travel Agents Association of Sri Lanka (TAASL).
The appointment was announced at TAASL’s 51st Annual General Meeting, held on 17 September 2026 in Kathmandu, Nepal. De Silva previously served as Junior Vice President, contributing to the association’s work representing travel agents and strengthening cooperation across Sri Lanka’s tourism and aviation sectors.
TAASL brings together travel agents and tour operators while maintaining engagement with airlines, tourism authorities and other industry stakeholders. The association also works to strengthen professional standards and collaboration within the country’s travel trade.
Alongside his TAASL responsibilities, De Silva leads Travel Fantasy DMC, a Sri Lankan destination management company providing inbound and outbound travel, leisure holidays and customised tourism services.
His new position provides a broader platform to support industry partnerships, travel agents and the continued development of Sri Lanka’s tourism and destination management sector.
